The summer of 1961 was in between Florrie’s Junior and Senior years of high school so my parents apparently took her to see a few colleges. Not many pictures though. The rest of the magazine are of a variety of summer activities as described in the title.

On the last day of summer camp was the event we were all waiting for, the camp show. Each age group sang a song and wore some sort of camper-made costumes. The only song I can actually remember singing in one of these shows was one year when I was an Eagle (8-10 year-old boys) and we sang The Jet Song from West Side Story. Probably because my parents had the album.
